Lotus from Persimmon Tree Tea
March 15, 2012The flavor is absolutely delicious! The flavor is very near to the fragrance of the tea, with the main focus of the tea being the flavorful smoky green tea, which has very deep and smooth mellow notes and no bitterness or sharp flavor. The tea holds only a slightly smoky flavor, much like a high quality gunpowder tea, and unfurls into large chunks of whole tea leaves which retain a mossy, earthy green color.

Review: The Persimmon Tree Tropical Pineapple
March 03, 2012This is an organic green tea, pineapple, organic cornflowers, organic safflowers, and the natural flavors of pineapple, mango and papaya. It is a pretty tea with the lighter olive green of the leaves, the blue of the cornflowers and the pineapple bits. The aroma itself isn't fruity at all. Instead the grassy aroma of the green tea comes thru strongly.
