Pleasant Surprise

I was so surprised when I made a cup of this tea and how DIVINE the smell and taste was. It's super smooth, the vanilla is so evident but the taste is still subtle and smooth. Even just inhaling the aroma is enjoyable. I'll definitely be buying more of this, it's wonderful!

Impressed!

I had heard and read so much about this tea on Steepster so I knew when I placed my first Persimmon Tree order it had to include this one. I love it, and I am not a frequent oolong drinker. It is light and crisp, refreshing, with a creamy vanilla accent. It's smooth and as you sip, you'll be wondering what the other flavors are but it doesn't matter because they complement one another delicately. It's what I would consider a classy tea.

Silky Deliciousness

This is one of the best oolong teas I've ever tried, and I love the sweeter side of it. I finished this sample the fastest out of the all the samples I ordered, and can't wait until my other loose teas are further consumed so more of this great tea can finally be ordered! My only gripe is that the second steeping for me greatly reduces the vanilla and citrus flavors, and I like to resteep my teas.

This tea has deep flavor. The citrus is lovely... The vanilla complements the citrus fantastically. I will be living off this during the holidays.

Really quite lovey! There's a smooth citrus to this that makes it so drinkable. I bet this is equally as good iced.

Silky, sweet and citrus

Tastes creamy vanilla up front with a clean and delicious oolong taste and non-tart mild citrus. Subtly sweet. No bitterness. I love the vanilla flavor in this, probably the best vanilla usage with it being the perfect amount and creamy. Not artificial tasting. The citrus is used nicely and is amazingly not tart. Almost like a lemon drop tea.

Not bad

This is a very nice oolong. I’m getting a little bit of flavor, but it’s not as overpowering as I thought it would be. I can taste the hints on citrus and vanilla, and it’s a nice compliment to it.

Great Taste

This is one of my favorite teas. I haven't had much oolong experience, but I think this is one that you can love no matter whether you enjoy oolongs or not. It's very smooth and creamy, and not overly floral as some oolongs can be. This is one that has to be tasted to believe. It very much lives up to all the hype.

The BEST!

I can't believe I have not reviewed this tea! I thought I had! Well here it is:
I adore this tea! I have had this on my Wish List almost since I first began sipping loose leaf tea. It was one of my first samples ever received! No idea why I waited so long to order it.
Its creamy, slightly tart with the lemon flavor I am finding I love in many teas, the vanilla is NOT over done and you can still taste the pouchong coming through.
The smell is dreamy!
I also find that a slightly lower heat level and a bit longer steep do this tea well. Otherwise you may find it a bit on the weak or watery side.
One of my favorites.
